The end of my breastfeeding journey with Tommy
I managed to breastfeed Tommy for 22 months which is quite an achievement, and something I’m really proud of. I knew our journey was slowly coming to an end, but I wasn’t quite prepared for how it would happen....
Through all the ups and downs of breastfeeding, I’m so proud that I was able to create a Lactation Range to support other breastfeeding mamas. This was born out of the hard times I faced during my first and ongoing breastfeeding journeys (you can read about my first breastfeeding journey here), and it means so much to me to be able to help other mums feel supported. I love the beautiful community that’s growing, where mums can connect, feel less alone, and have nourishing snacks to fuel their bodies while they work so hard at making milk for their babies. Because, truly, it’s an incredible thing we do.

My First Breastfeeding Journey
Read my journey to breastfeeding my first born. I had a lot of hard times to get through the first 4 months of our time together - but we got there. We overcame, low milk supply, triple feeding, tongue and lip ties, nipple trauma, Hashimoto's, supplementing formula and donor breast milk and the toll it took on me. I share what helped me throughout this journey and really the beginnings of where the seed of The Mamahood Collective was planted. We shared a beautiful journey until she was 14 months old, which I was very proud of and in the end found peace and love for the journey we had together.
