A New Chapter for The Mamahood Collective
There's a quote I keep coming back to lately: you don't always know where the road is leading you, but you can know whether you're on the right one.
That's exactly how this season feels.
If you've been part of this community for a while, you'll know The Mamahood Collective started in the thick of my own motherhood journey - sleep-deprived, breastfeeding, completely consumed by the day-to-day of keeping tiny humans alive. I built TMC because I couldn't find what I needed, so I created it myself. Nourishing recipes. Honest conversations. A space that didn't judge you for surviving on toast and desperation some days.
That heart hasn't changed. But the next chapter is starting to unfold, and I want to bring you along for it.
What's Actually Happening
I'm currently partway through my Baby-Led Sleep and Wellbeing Specialist certification, and it's been one of the most fulfilling things I've done in years.
If you're wondering why sleep - out of everywhere I could have taken TMC - here's the honest answer: it's been calling to me for a long time.
Long before TMC, I trained and worked as an early childhood and primary teacher. Child development, attachment, the way little nervous systems work - this has always been part of how I see the world. Nourishment was where TMC started, but sleep and wellbeing is where so much of my passion has actually lived all along.
And on a personal level? I know what it's like to be deep in the fog of broken sleep, desperately Googling at 3am, trying to follow my instincts while the internet told me I was doing it all wrong. I know the exhaustion. I know the doubt. I know how badly you want someone to just get it - not hand you a rigid schedule, but actually understand what you and your baby are going through.
That's exactly the kind of support I want to be able to offer you.
Why This, and Why Now
Stepping into something new after the time and effort in building TMC around nourishment hasn't been a small decision. But the more I've studied, the more certain I've felt.
What I keep coming back to is this: sleep isn't just about sleep.
It's about attachment. It's about co-regulation - that beautiful, biological process where your calm helps your baby find their own calm. It's about helping mamas get better stretches of rest without compromising the connection and responsiveness that your instincts are already telling you matters.
This is why zero sleep training is the philosophy underpinning everything I'm building. You won't find rigid schedules or cry-it-out methods here. You'll find support that holds both things at once - your need for rest, and your baby's need for connection. Because you shouldn't have to choose between the two.
What This Means for The Mamahood Collective
For now, nourishment is still very much at the heart of what I share with you. The recipes and e-guides, the honest motherhood content, the real-life chaos - all of that continues.
But over the coming months, you'll start to see a second pillar emerge alongside it: sleep and wellbeing, built on connection, co-regulation, and zero sleep training.
Eventually, this will come together as a fuller offering - nourishment and sleep support, side by side, the way they've always belonged.
Come Along With Me
I won't pretend this isn't a big shift. But I am so genuinely excited about what's ahead.
I'd love for you to come along on this journey with me - through the study, the behind-the-scenes, the things I'm learning, and eventually, the launch of something I believe in wholeheartedly.
This is just the beginning. Thank you for being here for it.
